Azadi Ka Amrit MahotsavAtmosphere
The study of Atmospheric Sciences is a major programme of the centre. The centre develops state of art techniques for the analysis and forecasting of the weather and climate from regional to global scales using various satellite data. The space based inputs are used by IMD and other agencies for their forecasts.
