To celebrate World Ocean Day, an online lecture on "Biogeochemistry of the Indian Ocean" was delivered by Prof. Sunil Kumar Singh, Director, National Institute of Oceanography (NIO). The event was organized by SAC and Ahmedabad chapters of Indian Meteorological Society (IMSA), Indian Society of Geomatics (ISG-AC), and Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS-AC) on 8th June 2022 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. A good number of participants enthusiastically joined the online programme, which was a different experience on a topic that was unique and interesting.
