The celebration for the year 2022 that marked 147th Birth Anniversary of great leader Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel was concluded on 03.11.2022 with various activities held at DOS Colony, Vastrapur with the participation from SAC, DECU, CISF and KV SAC students. The main events covered during the event were Pada Yatra , Cycling and Marathon. This year we also displayed the ISRO exhibits on handcart and we also tried to revisit the old memories of Thumba days by carrying rocket model on a bicycle.

Director SAC , Shri Nilesh Desai flagged off the event on 03.11.2022 from the DOS Colony, Vastrapur. Shri Nilesh Desai, Director SAC , Shri Rajesh Khandelwal Director DECU, DD MESA/Chairperson of the Sub-Committee for National Unity Day celebration- Shri Anand Pathak, Dr Parul Patel Chairperson AKAM, Dr Ram Rajak Alternate Chairperson AKAM and many senior scientists along with SAC and DECU employees, KV SAC students, CISF personnel followed the pre routed path for Pada Yatra, cycling and marathon.
