Under “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, GIS Day-2021 was celebrated jointly by SAC/ISRO, Indian Society of Geomatics (ISG-AC), Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS-AC), Indian Meteorological Society (IMSA) & L J Institute of Engineering and Technology,Ahmedabad on 25th November, 2021. As part of the celebration, Workshop on GIS Education and Space on Wheel & Static Exhibition by VSSE was arranged at L J Institute of Engineering & Technology on 25th November, 2021. Shri Nilesh M Desai, Director, SAC/ISRO, the Chief Guest for the function, inaugurated the Exhibition and delivered talk on “Overview of Indian Space Programme”.
