Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is the public procurement portal for procurement of goods and services for all Central and State government ministries, departments, PSUs and affiliated bodies. The purchase through GeM by Government users have been authorised and mandatory by Ministry of Finance by adding a new Rule No. 149 in the General Financial Rules, 2017.
It endeavours to make public procurement process transparent, efficient and inclusive.

E-Procurement
ISRO has initiated e-procurement portal for carrying out procurement activities electronically across all centres of ISRO. ISRO’s e-procurement portal is made available with URL https://eproc.isro.gov.in .
The access to SAC tenders is by logging into ISRO e-procurement portal and then selecting the respective centre. The procurement will be done in this mode only wherever the procurements cannot be processed through GeM.
The primary objective of this portal is to provide a single point access to the information on procurements made across various ISRO centres.
