IMDPS (IMD) DATA RECEPTION PROJECT
DR - Kalpana VHRR, INSAT-3A CCD one chain tested and activated.
   
Oceansat II - Scatterometer
Integration of Scan Mechanism and antenna with the SIM structure completed. Scan Stability test and RF testing of QM rotary joint successfully completed.
   
Oceansat II : OCM-2
Completed Spectral data analysis for the bands, acquired through automated test setup and results posted on Results++ portal.
   

DMSAR

  • Sorties conducted over Chattisgarh region to acquire helicopter search data. The 50 km x 25 km area was covered in HRS mode and images processed at NRSA using NRTP system. Final data product handed over to ADRIN.
  • Test flights conducted over lbrahimpatnam area near Hyderabad by increasing SWST. Data was processed and evaluated.
  • Presently, Kosi flood damage assessment campaign is in progress in Bihar.
   
DMSAR
DMSAR system installed in aircraft and checkout completed. Two test flights were conducted on Jun. 23, 2008 and Jun. 25, 2008. The data processing done and images obtained. Aircraft was sent back to National Remote Sensing Agency with DMSAR system installed in ready to fly condition.
   
C-Band MMIC Receiver Space-Qualification completed successfully.
   
First onboard calibration of CARTOSAT was carried out during night pass of Orbit #38 on April 29, 2008. Analysis of this data also completed.
   
First day image acquired by CARTOSAT-2A.
   
ISRO's PSLV-C9, Successfully launched CARTOSAT-2A, IMS-1 and eight nanosatellites.
   
IMS-1 : Multispectral camera of IMS-1 was switched on at 0942 hrs. on Apr. 29, 2008 for acquisition of earth images. The image quality is satisfactory.
   
Integrated Spacecraft Test(IST) of TWSAT completed.
         
Development of GCU Software for DCG(RISAT) completed.
   
New Navigation Techniques for the Data Processing, Parameter Retrieval Software have been developed and test is being carried out with KALPANA-1 Data for INSAT-3D MET & Communication Payload.
   
Detail Design Review of Communications Payload systems and antenna deployable Mechanism of GSAT-7 completed at SAC.
 
TWSAT Multispectral camera, Payload integrated with spacecraft.
 
TWSAT pre-launch payload testing done at SDSC, SHAR.
 
North, South and EV panels of GSAT-4, containing Ka-band bent pipe and SATNAV payloads was completed, fully characterized and was flagged off from SAC on Jan. 24, 2008.
   
T & E of integrated HYSI-T module (HySI camera) and multi-spectral camera (MXT) is completed for TWSAT
   
Multispectral & Hyperspectral camera transported to ISAC. The interface test of TWSAT payload with BDH was also carried out.
   
The in-house development of software for software developed for telemetry and tele-command simulator (GSAT-4) completed.
   
Kalpana VHRR Meteorological data reception is operational.
   
Activation of complete redundant chain of Data Reception (DR) for Kalpana VHRR completed.
   
Preliminary Design Review (PDR) for GSAT-6 Communication Payload and unfurlable antenna completed.

Thermo-Vacuum and Bench Test successfully completed on first FM tile for RISAT.
   
Payload for satellite INSAT-4C(R) integrated with spacecraft and launched. In orbit tests completed successfully.
   
In orbit testing of INSAT-4B payload completed. All transponders are functioning satisfactorily.
