Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad carries out design, development, fabrication, testing and delivery of payloads for communications / electrooptic and microwave remote sensing satellites; associated ground electronics system; as well as Applications programmes in satellite based communications. broadcasting, remote sensing and meteorology.

Top class Industries are invited to participate in SAC's activities related to (i) design, development, fabrication and testing of (a) satellite payload subsystems and (b) ground based hardware / check-out system; and (ii) development of technical and scientific software.
